Artistic and Creative Friends

One of my friends, I will call "Stone" for the sake of privacy is a closeted talent in this world.  Amazing how one can go unnoticed for so long and blend in with the rest of the blue and gray of DoD workers here in the DC Metro area.

Here is a start of something wonderful that he jotted into an email after a conversation about the crickets this afternoon and how they suddenly stop, as if "one hand clapping".

When I hear them crickets chirping,
It's a soft symphony to me
That lulls me off to dreamland
On a sleepy velvet sea

Oh, those crickets keep a' playing
'Til the dawn is almost here.
Their music goes on so sweetly
Then one day never reappears.

Another friend of mine, Xyra, has started her own Thursday, 2100 ET, Internet radio show entitled "Where Glass Bird's Fly" on Mix Talk:  http://www.themixtalk.com/ .

She is revisiting her days as a radio personality with her own talk show on topics that are of interest to her such as "Angel Therapy", religion, celestial topics, etc.

If you can not tune into the live show, an option is to download past shows of interest and listen at your convenience.

Have an open mind and enjoy!
