Isn't this hat just brilliant! I found it about five years ago and scooped it up.
It sat for a time on a corner shelf in the "Tree House", guest bedroom uncovered and I finally decided that in order to preserve it.
It definitely needed to be placed in a shadow box at some point.
Away it got hidden in a cardboard box for the last few years and it is once again seeing glimpses of the light of day as a ponder what fabric to use in the shadow box (domed plexi-glass w/frame) that I bought recently.
Any suggestions on fabric color for the backdrop?
More than likely, this will go up on the wall in the vanity area of the master bedroom. As exquisite as the hat is and I want others to see it and all. The current shadow box might be a bit too gaudy if hung in the living area.
